The Mad River Path is excited to announce two new members to the Board of Directors, Jen Bennett of Warren and Clare Ireland!
After many years of visiting the valley as a weekend warrior, Jen Bennett moved from Boston to Vermont full time in 2008. For the past 14 years, Jen has made the Mad River Valley her home and has become very familiar with our trails while lending a hand as a volunteer. Jen says that she “values the incredible pathway system we have here and appreciates that it is one of the components that makes our community such a special place to live.”
Clare and her husband moved to Waitsfield two years ago. Since they moved to the MRV, they have been enjoying the Mad River Path to walk to local businesses and explore the area. “The level of access and connectivity the path provides is really special,” said Clare. “I'm excited to help support efforts that will increase walkability and recreational opportunities here in the Valley."
