*A Section Caretaker keeps an eye on a section of the Path or trail and either lets us know about any issues or takes care of the issue. For example, if a tree or large branch falls on a Path section, the Caretaker either contacts us to clear it or clears it on their own. A Caretaker also acts as an ambassador to the community on behalf of MRP when out on the Path or a trail. They’ll let Path and trail users know about dog policies, other nearby sections, local restaurants and businesses, and maybe even what kind of bird that is over there.
