The newest addition to the Mad River Path is now open! You’ll find a 1/3 mile mostly grassed section of path on Yestermorrow’s property that crosses through a beautiful meadow and campus. Yestermorrow is generously hosting this section, and they are donating a trail easement to protect it in perpetuity! The new section connects to the Kingsbury Farm Greenway across Rt 100 to the southwest. And that’s not it…in 2021, a 1 mile single-track “lollipop” loop will be completed on the hillside above campus!
“We’re excited to continue expanding the path and fill the gaps in the network,” said MRP’s Executive Director, Ross Saxton. “We hope to make more path connections soon and eventually complete the continuous trail between Warren and Moretown!”
